The prestigious K.R.A Narasiah Merit Awards were celebrated with enthusiasm at Indian Maritime University (IMU), featuring the Shri Narasiah Marine Heritage History Quiz. This event aimed to enhance awareness of India's rich maritime heritage.

Award Structure:

• 1st Place: ₹25,000
• 2nd Place: ₹10,000
• 3rd Place: ₹5,000

Event Details:

Preliminary Round (September 26):

• Conducted offline at respective campuses with unlimited team entries.
• Each team comprised two participants, answering 30 questions, including 5 "star" questions, related to Indian maritime history.
• The round was monitored, prohibiting electronic devices, and activities were live-streamed via Google Meet.

Final Round (September 27):

• Held online, featuring the top teams competing through various quiz formats, including rapid-fire and tie-breaking rounds.
• Quizmaster: Mr. G. Vinodh.
• Live-streamed on YouTube for wider engagement.
