The National Maritime Day Celebratons (Central) Committee (NMDC), under the aegis of Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways celebrated “Day of the Seafarer” on the theme “Navigating the Future - Safety First” in Veer Savarkar Hall, Shivaji Park, Mumbai on 25 June 2024. On this occasion, Cadet Ahir Tanvi Shyam of IMU NMC received the Scholarship amount of Rs. 50,000/- with the Certificate of Appreciation from MASSA for achieving the highest rank amongst girl cadets at the entrance test conducted by IMU in 2023.
