The first Advisory Committee meeting of the IMU Centre for Policy Research in Maritime Studies (CPRiMeS) was held under Chairmanship of Dr. Malini V Shankar, the Vice Chancellor IMU. Dhowan (IN) (Retd) - Former Chief of the Naval Staff of India and Chairman of Society for Aerospace Maritime and Defense Studies ( SAMDeS), Dr. Vandana Aggarwal Chairperson IFSCA Committee, Capt Pradeep Chawla CEO Maritime Knowledge Ltd., Associate Professor Priyadarshi Dash RIS, Delhi, Capt Sudarshan Srinivasan Director Synergy Maritime Recruitment Services Pvt. Ltd. attended alongwith with the Pro VC IMU Dr. Rajoo Balaji, the Dean NA&OE IMU Prof. KM Sivakholundu, the Prof of Practice Nautical Capt Kishore Sunderesan, the Registrar IMU Mr. K Saravanan, FO(i/c), HODs and representatives of NIAS, Bengaluru and IMU.
