10+2/equivalent (PCM Average-Minimum 60%) with minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th Examination.
Maximum age: For Male: General-25 years, OBC(NCL)-28 years, SC/ST-30 years For Female: General-27 years, OBC(NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years. The reference date for calculation of the age will be from the date of commencement of the Academic Session (01.08.2024).
For SC/ST candidates: There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks of PCM; however, it will not apply to English Marks.
All Candidates who qualify for this course will have to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of Certificate Verification
Eligibility - Lateral Entry for admission in 2nd Year
Candidates with 60% marks in:
4-year Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology, Goa.
OR
3year Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from
the AMET University, Chennai.
OR
3year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any
Institute approved by AICTE .
OR
B.Sc.(Ship Building & Repair)AND A minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination.
The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated
duration of 3/4 years.
