The program encompasses a broad curriculum, covering subjects such as Dredging Technology, Port and Harbour Engineering, Coastal Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering.Graduates of our program are equipped to pursue a variety of careers in the maritime industry and related fields. Overview

M.Tech in Dredging and Harbour Engineering is a 2-year postgraduate engineering program that focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of dredging and harbour structures.Upon completion of the program, graduates can find employment opportunities in various sectors of the maritime industry, such as port authorities, dredging companies, marine construction firms, and offshore engineering companies. Graduates can work as dredging engineers, harbour engineers, port managers, marine construction engineers, and project managers.

Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification

    Candidates must have completed Engineering in Mechanical/ Civil/ Marine/ Naval Architecture or  B. Tech (Fisheries Engineering) from a recognized university.
    Minimum Marks:
     
    a) 55% aggregate 
     


  • Relaxation

    For SC/ST candidates : There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required PCM; however, it will not apply to English subject Marks


  • Age Limit

    No age limit 


  • Medical Certificate

    All the candidates who qualify for this program require to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of Certificate Verification.
