Diploma in Nautical Science is a comprehensive 1-year residential program that trains students in the fundamentals of marine navigation, seamanship, and safety management.Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the examinations required for obtaining a Certificate of Competency (CoC) as a Deck Officer in the merchant navy. This certificate is issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, and is recognized internationally.
For SC/ST candidates : There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required PCM; however, it will not apply to English subject Marks
All the candidates who qualify for this program require to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of Certificate Verification
